I am participating in an Immersive Arts Bootcamp at BOM: Birmingham Open Media. We are learning how to use Unreal Engine 5 to create wonders, with a side quest to learn Blender to support this creation. I am not used to working digitally so it is very helpful to have the support of the tutors and mentors, I highly recommend it over trying to follow tutorials alone in your little garret.
So far I have learnt how to create and import materials and assets. I am applying this to my project, for which I am building a house. Houses in games (in my limited experience) bother me because they are too clean and basic, with fewer contents than even a show home - not at all messy like my home. My goal is to create a realistically lived-in home with an unsettling vibe.
