That’s What She Shed

This week at Bootcamp was a little different. We were challenged to create a shed that shows off all the skills we have learnt so far, including textures, lighting and attenuated sound. I’ll admit, the time limit had me stressed but it also meant that I didn’t waste time on things that weren’t working and swiftly moved on to the next item on the list. It also pushed me to build and sculpt things in Unreal, where I’ve happily been spending all my time creating my world, as opposed to Blender which I’ve largely left untouched since that first session. My confidence in Unreal Engine 5 has grown – I am very happy with this result – and realising just how much I’ve forgotten about Blender has identified a weakness that I can work on between now and the end of the course.

Check out a video of my shed here.
